Elizabeth Yuen (B.S., ’16, Kinesiology) and Assistant Professor Jimmy Bagley published the article “Exercise Benefits and Considerations for Individuals With Systemic Lupus Erythematosus” in the December 2016 issue of Strength & Conditioning Journal. The article presents the benefits of exercise for individuals with lupus and provides practitioners and clinicians with exercise recommendations and considerations for patients with the disease. For this work, Yuen and Bagley won the Undergraduate-Faculty Research Collaboration Award from the College of Health & Social Sciences last May at the college’s 2016 Spring Showcase.
